The Coconut oil detox is really quite different as you are getting fat which you don”t get on the Master Cleanse. It will give you many more calories than the Master Cleanse and you can also snack on yogurt if you are hungry. I would not advise that you attempt to do a 40 day detox without some supervision by a practitioner with a lot of experience in fasting.

Hi Stevie,

Sea salt is different than rock salt. Sea salt will be labelled sea salt. Celtic salt is good if you can get it.
The salt will dissolve in the water but stirring the mixture will help.

Oh yeah one more thing I was looking at the Master cleanse and this looks just like that… The only difference seams to be using Coconut oil instead of Maple syrup…. Also they said you can go up to 40 days with that can you also fast for up to 40 days with this detox???

Just wondering about the sea salt?
Is that the sea salt that looks like a rock?
Also how do you take it just wait for it to dissolve in like water???

Nice article. there is a typo in the second sentence: Caprylic acid and lauric acid are both natural fungals that are derived from coconut and are contained in the oil. The word “fungals” should be “anit-fungals”. thanks
