Here are some healthy snack recipe ideas that you can have up your sleeve when you next detox.<\/p>\n<p>I came across this first recipe while a was thumbing through Men&#8217;s Heath Magazine at a friends house. Although it was not specifically for a snack on a detox diet it is ideal if you get a yearning for some ice cream.<\/p><div id=\"thede-2375479000\" class=\"thede-content thede-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-2337972821559110\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2337972821559110\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"5013879607\" \ndata-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\ndata-ad-format=\"fluid\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Super Berry Yogurt Ice<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>350 grams fresh or frozen berries of choice<br \/>\n1 banana, sliced<br \/>\n200 ml plain Greek or Greek style yogurt (preferably organic)<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Place all ingredients into blender or food processor.<br \/>\nBlend or process until smooth and creamy<br \/>\nPour mix into shallow freezer container and leave in freezer for 2 -3 hours until firm.<br \/>\nRemove 30 minutes before serving to allow to soften.<\/p>\n<p>If using frozen berries you can eat it straight away, there is no need to freeze.<\/p>\n<p>Note: Original Greek yogurt was made with goat&#8217;s milk but it&#8217;s is probably impossible to find now.<br \/>\nYou can use live Greek style yogurt but look for organic.<\/p>\n<p>If you miss your pudding try this recipe. It takes a bit of time to prepare.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Sweet Potato Pudding<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>2 large sweet potatoes, washed<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp cinnamon<br \/>\nfresh apple juice to taste<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 200\u00b0C (400\u00b0F)<\/p>\n<p>Pierce potatoes with fork before wrapping in foil.<br \/>\nBake for 45 &#8211; 60 minutes until soft.<br \/>\nAllow to cool for 30 minutes or more until cook enough to handle.<br \/>\nScrape out flesh, add cinnamon and blend until smooth.<br \/>\nAdd a little apple juice to sweeten if really necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a raw pudding that you can whip up in no time.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Raw Apple Delight Pudding<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>2 ripe bananas, peeled<br \/>\n2 kiwis, peeled<br \/>\n2 fresh dates<br \/>\n2 organic apples, washed<br \/>\na little ground cinnamon<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Place bananas, kiwis and dates in a food processor and mix until smooth.<br \/>\nCore apple and chop flesh.<br \/>\nPour blended fruit mixture over apples and sprinkle with a little cinnamon to taste.<br \/>\nEat immediately<\/p>\n<p>If you miss baked goods try these seed and nut cakes.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Two Seed and Nut Cake<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>6tbs pumpkin seeds<br \/>\n3tbs amaranth seeds<br \/>\n4tbs flaked almonds<br \/>\n4tbsp cashew nuts<br \/>\n2tbsp chestnut flour<br \/>\n2tbsp quinoa flour<br \/>\n1tsp natural vanilla essence<br \/>\n\u00be tsp mixed spice<br \/>\n2tbs rice syrup<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F (180\u00b0C) adjust for fan ovens<\/p>\n<p>Grind seeds and nuts together or grind separately and mix together in bowl.<br \/>\nAdd flours and spice.<br \/>\nAdd a little water to rice syrup to thin and add with enough water (approx \u00be pint) to make a sloppy mixture.<br \/>\nAdd vanilla essence and mix well.<br \/>\nAllow to soak for at least \u00bd hour. Mixture will thicken as it stands.Place in individual lightly oiled tart tins or a lightly oiled 8 inch shallow sponge cake tin and cook at Gas 4\/ 350F\/180C cook for 1\u00bd hours or until dry in center when tested with the point of a sharp knife or skewer.<\/p>\n<p>If you crave pancakes then try this healthier version.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3091\" title=\"GlutenFreePancakes\" src=\"https:\/\/thedetoxspecialist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/GlutenFreePancakes1.jpg\" alt=\"detox diet plan\" width=\"240\" height=\"180\" \/>Gluten-Free Pancakes<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>6oz gluten free flour of choice or combination of flours (a combination of three or four flours can be used) see below<br \/>\n2 level tsp wheat free baking powder (optional)<br \/>\n5 &#8211; 10 oz\u00a0 water or milk substitute<br \/>\n1 egg\u00a0 (optional)\u00a0 beaten<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Put all ingredients except fluid into a bowl.<br \/>\nAdd 5 fl.oz liquid and beat well. Add more liquid as necessary.<br \/>\nThe amount needed varies with the flour used.
