If you can’t get to the bottom of your health problem you may need to do a heavy metal detox. The problem of heavy metal toxicity is not one that’s recognized nor acknowledged by mainstream doctors. You could have the problem and not know it.
Standard blood tests will not reveal it. Your doctor won’t look for it unless you have had an obvious exposure and clear recognized symptoms of heavy metal poisoning. But, you don’t have to have been exposed to it in an industrial setting to have the problem.
What are Heavy Metals?
Before I get into how to do a heavy metal detox to treat the toxicity two things that you need to know are how it happens and what they are. Heavy metals are the chemical elements which have a certain gravity.
The heavy metals that are often found when someone has heavy metal toxicity are mercury, lead, cadmium, and arsenic. Some of the heavy metals like copper, chromium, iron, manganese, and zinc are required by your body in little amounts. However, those same elements can cause toxicity when there is too much in your body.
Aluminum, although often included in lists of heavy metals, is actually a light metal. It has no known function in the body and is toxic.
How They Get Into your Body
These heavy metals often enter your body through different things, such as air, water, or food, or even by being absorbed through your skin. When they are in your body, they are competing with and taking the place of essential minerals like copper, magnesium, calcium, and zinc in your cells, enzymes and tissues. They also interfere with the functions of your organs and can cause serious illness.
People are often going to have contact with the heavy metals in pharmaceutical manufacturing, agriculture, and industrial work. Children often are poisoned because they play in the soil that is contaminated.
If you regularly eat a lot of fish, have had a lot of vaccinations, drink tap water, eat conventional (non-organic) foods, have silver-colored dental fillings you will have been exposed to toxic metals.
Symptoms are going to vary, based on the quantity and nature of that heavy metal that you ingested and your natural ability to detox them.
People who are affected may have vomiting, nausea, stomach pain, headaches, sweating, diarrhea, and a metal taste in their mouth. There also may be lines that look blue=black in their gums. Often the symptoms are not recognized as heavy metal toxicity.
When someone has a severe case, they are going to show that they are having trouble with thinking, with walking or moving, and with expressing themselves.
Back in the 1600’s, there were a lot of problems with poisoning from mercury, and this is where the inspiration for the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland comes from. The hat makers were making their hats from animal hides which had been soaked in a mercuric nitrate solution for softening the animal hair. This in turn affected those who were wearing the hats.
How do you know if you have Heavy Metal Toxicity?
Standard blood tests are not going to reveal the problem unless you have an acute case of poisoning because the metals are removed from the blood quite quickly and stored in your tissues. Often, the first someone knows that they have heavy metal toxicity is through a hair mineral analysis, a live blood analysis with the dried spot test or if they take a urine challenge test.
A hair mineral analysis is not always accurate if you are not a good detoxifier of heavy metals. It stands to reason that if you are a good detoxifier then it’s likely that you won’t have a problem.
A urine challenge test involves taking a sample of urine before and after taking a substance that chelates metals such as liquid zeolite or DMSA to see if the levels increase.
Metal toxicity can be an underlying cause of many health problems. It’s well worth checking for if you have Lyme Disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, food allergies, learning difficulties,
Cardio-Vascular Disease, any kind of degenerative disease or any chronic symptoms that have not responded to other treatments.
Pectasol C
Once you discover that you have heavy metal toxicity the good news is that you can do something about it. PectaSol-C®, a modified citrus pectin, developed by integrative medicine doctor, Isaac Eliaz MD, has impressive research behind it showing that it will remove heavy metals and other toxins from your body.
Pectasol-C is a natural product derived from pith of citrus fruit but modified so it can be absorbed from the digestive tract. Not all citrus pectin on the market has been altered this way and cannot be absorbed by the body into the blood stream.
Modified Citrus Pectin has provided tens of thousands of people with a simple and all-natural method of protecting and promoting cellular health, and the safe and gentle removal of heavy metals and toxins. The good thing about it is that it does not remove any essential minerals as some of the other chelation methods do.
People who believe that they have the problem can take 6 capsules every day for immediate support and 2 capsules for prevention or maintenance for the long term.
Other guidelines include taking the supplement when your stomach is empty, a minimum of 30 minutes prior to eating or two hours after eating. It should also be taken 2 hours prior to or after other medications or supplements.
Heavy metal toxicity is a problem for many people but the good news is that it can be treated. Use Pectasol for heavy metal detox and you should feel better quickly. Find out more here: PectaSol-C

Unfortunately, heavy metal buildup is a serious concern in our modern society. Pectin-based detoxes can be a fantastic day to rid the body of this these toxic leftovers. There are also certain types of clay that can be ingested to help carry metal buildup from the body. Thanks for sharing this good information!

There are many ways of detoxing heavy metals. Chlorella can be good too.

Hello Lau’ana,
So sorry for the late reply. Your comment went into my spam for some reason and I’ve only just come across it. Yes PectaSol can remove arsenic. It is a heavy metal.
This published research confirms it although they don’t say in this excerpt how much was given: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16835878
Good health,
Sandy
