Fermented foods and drinks
One of the essential parts of the Body Ecology Diet is the raw fermented foods and drinks. The health benefits of fermented or cultured foods that our ancestors ate as part of their traditional diet seem to have been forgotten in today’s modern world.
These foods, teaming with beneficial bacteria, help to repopulate your gut, improve your digestion, provide nutrients that boost your immune system, stop sugar cravings and generally help to keep you healthy. They are alkaline forming and help with cleansing.

You can eat meat and poultry but it should be organic and the meat pasture fed. Wild fish is included too. Nuts and seeds provide protein as well but nuts should be soaked for 12 hours before eating to make them easier to digest.
